At CollegePrep

We advise students on how to become the best.

Since its inception in 2007, CollegePrep has been a small-by-design, intentional practice focused on helping students find their best college fit. We work closely with our students to help them discover who they have become academically, socially, and athletically in high school, and then find colleges that match their personality, passions, and goals to ensure their success in college.

These personal variables will allow us to adopt a more personalized and student-centered approach, helping them discover their interests and passions through multiple lenses, using personality and career inventories at the beginning of the process to help them find what motivates them.

We also believe in teamwork. CollegePrep works with high school counselors, writing experts, test-ready coaches, and college admissions teams so that our students not only find schools they love, but also have the best possible applications.

We take the time to really get to know each student, including their academic strengths, intellectual interests, extracurricular commitments, and long-term goals, so our guidance feels personal and genuinely aligned with who they are. From course selection and academic planning to college strategy and application development, we help students present themselves with clarity and confidence.

Our work is collaborative by design. We work closely with students, families, school counselors, writing specialists, test-prep coaches, and admissions professionals so the process feels well supported and thoughtfully managed. The result is a personalized experience that helps each student pursue colleges that are truly right for them, what we call their “best-fit” colleges.

The Student Portal is more than a place to keep track of tasks. It gives students a dedicated space to stay organized and bring structure to a process that can easily feel overwhelming.
